Deep within the pristine Valdera, one the most untouched regions of Tuscany, lies the Etruscan hill-top Borgo of Chianni.

Chianni has been a well-loved home for many since ancient times and has always been coveted for it's divine Olive Oils and rich forests full of chestnuts and wild boar.

Its history is rich with Tuscan nobility...the Etruscans, the Medici and the last Contessa living in Chianni, passed away in the 1900s.

We chose Chianni or perhaps Chianni chose us...Serendipity certainly played its part in us finding ourselves in this glorious part of magical Tuscany.

Here life slows down...it's gentle upon the soul and one instantly feels a sense of calm and release.

People chat in the streets, children kick balls and laughter often fills the air.

Daily traditions of taking coffee at the bar and sharing stories with neighbours, have never disappeared.

Traditions have remained strong for millennia and are maintained faithfully by the locals, with many yearly Sagra and Festivals, drawing lovers of food, wine & music from far and wide.

This your classic Tuscan getaway staying in VSOTTO our ancient ground floor Cantina rooms

Inclusions

3 nights accommodation within the understated luxury of our ancient Tuscan stables, where 400 years of history speak to you, from the beautiful original ceiling timbers, ancient doors and stone architecture.

However, we have brought VSotto into the 21st century with modern appliances, fittings, fixtures, designer lighting, linens and organic bathroom products.

Your Ground Floor accommodation consists of :

- Fully equipped Kitchenette with Coffee Machine, Kettle, Milk Frother, Airfryer/Oven, Induction hob, Fridge and Front-loader washing machine, stone/resin double sink with inbuilt dish drainer. All kitchen utensils, plates, glasses etcetera, are supplied.

- WIFI available free of charge

- USB/C docks by your bedside for device charging

- A very cosy, contemporary living space with soft lighting, modern lounge seating and traditional wrought iron dining table & chairs.

- Separate luxury Queen bedroom with a choice of pillows for your comfort, premium linens, latest technology reverse cycle Air-conditioning system and it’s own elegant, Claw-foot bath with bath accessories.

- Luxurious bathroom, featuring a large walk-in shower with rain head, stunning marble sink and teak vanity, backlit vanity mirror plus overhead LED light perfect for makeup, all amenities including hair dryer and a range of luxury, organic Tuscan-made EVO products for hair & body, as well as disposable bathroom slippers.

- All windows have mosquito netting and are double glazed for sound and comfort.

At the beginning of your stay you will receive a Welcome Pack ,which includes a selection of the following items:

This package combines the fun of discovering what our village has to offer, whilst allowing yourself to indulge in some well deserved "me" time. Something we all need more of these days.
